An alarming incident of a house fire, leading to a tragic fatality and injuring a firefighter, unfolded in Springfield Township on Monday morning. The blaze, reported by an observant passerby, broke out shortly after 6:50 am, causing substantial damage to a residence located at the intersection of McKelvey and Winton Roads.
