JSW Paints ‘Futurescapes’ Art Contest 2024
Exclusively reported by Reader Wall, JSW Paints is once again collaborating with The Hindu Young World for the ‘Futurescapes’ painting competition 2024 planned for the school-going pupils. Interested students should send in their entries for the initial phase no later than February 27.
Contest Details
Under the banner ‘Think Beautiful’, the art competition will consist of early, regional, and national final stages. Students from class three to twelve can participate across three categories: sub-junior, junior, and senior.
Themes
Each category has designated themes. The sub-junior section has themes like ‘A day at the zoo’, ‘Underwater dreamland’, and ‘My happy family’. The junior level contestants can express their artistic ideas using ‘A day in the theme park’, ‘Animal Olympics’ and ‘Sharing a rainbow.’ Lastly, the senior students will showcase their creativity around themes like ‘Journey to outer space’, ‘A zero-pollution world’ and ‘Unity in diversity.’
Artwork Requirements
Students are free to use watercolors, crayons, and color pencils to create their masterpiece on an A3 sized white drawing sheet. The usage of sketch pens and markers is allowed only for outlining purposes.
Submission Guidelines
To move forward in the competition, the participants need to include some specific information. Essential details such as the chosen topic, participant’s name, class, school name, city, State, participation category, parent’s name, email ID, and mobile number should be clearly mentioned.
The physical artwork is to be forwarded to the nearest office of The Hindu. The envelope should clearly state ‘Young World – JSW Futurescapes Painting Competition 2024.’ Participants qualifying for the subsequent round will be contacted via email and mobile number.
