Autism Awareness: A Short Film Competition Announced by CADRRE
The Centre for Autism and other Disabilities Rehabilitation Research and Education (CADRRE), based in Thiruvananthapuram, has recently announced an invitation for entries for short films associated with autism. These films, with a runtime between 1 to 5 minutes, could be in any language but should positively highlight various experiences and storylines related to autism. Inclusion is Key
CADRRE’s main focus lies in promoting an inclusive society. Therefore, the narratives of the films should concentrate on the theme of inclusion exhibiting positive and diverse instances sprouting from interactive social environments.
The Prizes
Winning contributions will be showcased in the CADRRE International Filmlet Festival on Autism (CIFA). Prizes have been arranged for the top three films. The best film will scoop an award of ₹1,00,000 while the second-best film will be rewarded ₹50,000. In an exciting turn of events, the audience poll will decide the most popular film, and the winner will receive ₹50,000.
Registration Details
- The registration charges amount to ₹5,000 for entries within India, while for films from outside India, the fee is $100.
- Last date for the submission of entries: February 29, 2024.
