The storm mainly affected certain urbane areas, which comprised primarily of the quarters of the Kuala Sepetang Health Clinic, Kampung Setia located in Simpang, Kampung Menteri, the roadways of Kampung Matang, and Kampung Dew.

After receiving a disaster report around 4:30 p.m. from the Penghulu of Matang Mukim, the APM promptly dispatched teams to analyze risk factors, supervise the ongoing situation, and clear the debris caused by the storm.
