Understanding the Examination Methodology and Language Preferences

The NIFT 2024 examination process will feature a dual-type testing methodology. This involves a computer-based test (CBT) for the General Ability Test (GAT), and a paper-based test (PBT) for the Creative Ability Test (CAT). The examination paper will be bilingual, allowing candidates to choose between Hindi and English languages. The language selection needs to match the preference indicated in the candidate’s application form. It should be noted that in case of any disparities, the English version will hold supremacy.

Procedure to Access the Admit Card

In order to download their NIFT 2024 admit cards, candidates will need to log in using their unique registration ID and password on the official NIFT portal. It is vital for all candidates to carry with them their admit card, a valid piece of photo ID, as well as a list of prescribed stationary items to the examination venue.
