Republic Day Celebrations Ignite Patriotic Fervour at SCR and NDRF Battalion

Vijayawada Divisional Railway Manager Unfurls the National Flag
Narendra A. Patil hoisted the national flag at the Stadium on January 26th. Valleswara B. Thokala, the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, accompanied Mr. Patil to inspect the guard of honour presented by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the Scouts and Guides.
Extending his Republic Day greetings, the DRM addressed the railway employees and their families. He recapitulated the Vijayawada division’s accomplishments in the current fiscal year, drawn from the General Manager’s message. Cultural performances by RPF battalions, Scouts and Guides, Students of Jack and Jill School, and SKCV Children’s Trust augment the liveliness of the celebrations.
NTR Police Commissionerate Joins the Republic Day Bandwagon
The Republic Day celebrations at the Police Commissionerate also saw the participation of NTR Police Commissioner Kanthi Rana Tata. Alongside the Deputy Commissioners of Police including Vishal Gunni, Ajita Vajendla, M. Sathi Babu, K. Chakravarthy, several other officers marked their presence.
Commandant of NDRF’s 10th Battalion Takes Part in Republic Day Celebration
At Kondapavuluru village in Krishna district, Zahid Khan, the Commandant of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)’s 10th Battalion, hoisted the national flag. The Commandant gave a guard of honour inspection at the Battalion Headquarter Guard’s location. He recited the names of officers and NDRF personnel bestowed with President’s Police Medal for distinguished service, Police Medal for meritorious service, and gallantry awards.
A series of activities took place following the official ceremonies. The Commandant distributed sweets among officers, troops and children. The children participated in cultural shows and sports activities organized especially for children of the NDRF personnel, as informed by the Women Welfare Association president of the unit, Aisha Khan.
