French President Macron Visits Historical Shrine in India – Exclusive to Reader Wall

According to recent reports from Reader Wall, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, made a significant visit to the Dargah Nizamuddin Aulia, a renowned 700-year-old shrine in India, this past Friday evening.

Macron’s Schedule in Delhi

The French leader, who was the esteemed guest of honor at the 75th annual Republic Day celebration held at Kartavya Path in Delhi, arrived at the Nizamuddin Aulia shrine, regarded as the heart of Sufi culture in India, at around 9:45 in the night.

The accounts suggest that President Macron stayed at the shrine, which serves as the mausoleum of the celebrated Sufi, Nizamuddin Auliya, and his disciple Amir Khusrau, for over thirty minutes.

She further added that this serves as “a symbol of the depth of our friendship and the strength of our partnership”.
