Karnataka Police Capture Key Suspect in Assault Case of an RSS Worker


Our source reports that the main culprit behind the brutal attack on an RSS worker, identified as Varun, has been captured by the Karnataka Police. The assault in question took place when the victim was returning from a Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens(NRC) support programme in December 2019.

The Arrest

The primary suspect, Azhar, managed to escape to Saudi Arabia after executing the attack and was reportedly hiding there with the support of his brother-in-law. However, on his return, he was apprehended by the Karnataka police in the town of Bangarpet, located in the Kolar district.

Other Detainments

Our sources further divulge that the police have detained several of Azhar’s associates in connection with the case. These suspects have been identified as Irfan, Syed Akbar, Syed Siddiqui, Anwar Basha, Sadiq Ameen, and Sana.

Azhar’s Custody
