‘Social Infrastructure and Left Behind Places’ Book Launch at Neville Hall
Our trusted sources have informed us about an exclusive book release event to occur on 20th March 2024 at The Common Room Neville Hall, in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. The book in focus, ‘Social Infrastructure and Left Behind Places’, is the latest addition to the Regional Studies Association’s renowned Policy Book series.
Insights from Sacriston’s Social Infrastructure
The book presents an in-depth exploration of Sacriston, a former mining community in County Durham. Part of an extensive study, it navigates the creation, dissolution, and rebuilding of the village’s social infrastructure. It intends to be a handy guide for policymakers, enlightening them with strategies to tackle the issue of ‘left-behindness’ faced by similar communities.
