Early Life and Family

Born on 9th June 1935, in Gridley, IL, Donald was the cherished son of George and Louise (Grusy) Gramm. On 6th March 1960, he married the love of his life, Rozella (Rosie) Pfister. Together, they nurtured a family that was firmly grounded on the principles of faith, bond, and mutual respect.

He leaves behind his bereaved wife, Rosie; their children, Sandy Yergler, Judy Kaeb, Terri Witzig, George Gramm, Pam Steiner, and Jill Merkle; as well as 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his legacy.

A Man of Commitment and Community

Donald’s life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to the church. He saw joy in singing, volunteering his time, and ensuring the well-being of his community. Being a former army veteran, he held a deep fascination for the outdoors which led him to cherish the time he spent on his farm and traveling across the United States.

Donald’s career at Stoller International Inc. as a Parts Manager gave him the opportunity to instill his diligence and work ethic, making a significant impact on his colleagues and juniors.

His funeral services will be held at the Gridley Apostolic Christian Fellowship Hall, and he will be laid to rest with military honors in Gridley Cemetery.
