Fundraising in Memory of Holly Brand Raises Over £2500
Members of the Darwen Aldridge Community Academy have, from an internal source, revealed to have generated funds exceeding £2,500 in tribute to Holly Brand. Holly, a vibrant fifteen-year-old member of their student body, unfortunately, succumbed to pulmonary hypertension in the previous year.
Grieving and Honoring Through Charity
The Academy staff and student population, suffering a profound loss due to Holly’s untimely passing, launched versatile fundraising campaigns to honor the departed soul. Among the noteworthy activities, a Christmas fayre and a special ‘Elf Day’ were held to hoist proceeds, which are slated to benefit the Derian House.
