Neil Nitin Mukesh: A Review of His Life and Career
Child Star Turned Bollywood Actor
As a child performer, Neil Nitin Mukesh made an appearance in well-known films such as Vijay and Jaisi Karni Waisi Bharni. He made his entry in Bollywood in 2007 with Sriram Raghavan’s masterpiece, Johnny Gaddaar. This thriller remains one of the finest in the previous two decades. Nonetheless, the apex that was expected following the triumph of this film and 2009’s New York didn’t materialize his career.
His Success and Rumoured Affair
The only two films in which he found success were Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Saaho. He was speculated to be dating Asin, the famous actress from Ghajini, but both never confirmed their relationship. Currently, he maintains a production company and is speculated to have a net worth of Rs 40 crore.
Life at 40, An Exclusive Peek
Neil Nitin Mukesh celebrated his 40th birthday in a quiet fashion at home, surrounded by his family. Considering the current health crisis, it was the most appropriate way to celebrate. “If the situation would have been normal, I guess, I would have had thrown a grand party, invited all my buddies. Now, it’s just my family and the movies at home. We are indulging in a home cinema marathon with a different genre for every family member. Classic for my parents, an animated one for my darling daughter Nurvi, and for my brother Naman, my wife Rukmini, and myself, a thriller or horror,” he shared with Reader Wall.
The Mukesh Family Legacy
Neil comes from a lineage of singers. His legendary grandfather, Mukesh, and his esteemed father, Nitin Mukesh, are iconic singers. However, the talent for performing isn’t confined to singing in the Mukesh family. Neil’s grandfather, Mukesh, starred as a lead actor in numerous movies, exhibiting that acting is a crucial part of the family’s genetic makeup.
